Berlin, Germany - September 3, 2015: Two women stand just inside the entrance to the Memorial to the Sinti and Roma Victims of National Socialism. Designed by Dani Karavan, it was officially opened by Chancellor Angela Merkel on October 24, 2012. It is dedicated to the memory of the 220,000 - 500,000 people murdered by the Nazis in the Porajmos, the genocide of the European Sinti and Roma peoples.
